Plan Year 2024 MFWA Training Season Starts June 21, 2023
AHIP, America’s Health Insurance Plans, provides a comprehensive Medicare and Fraud, Waste, and Abuse training to keep you current and sharp in the field. You can transfer these scores to carrier-specific certifications to satisfy some of the requirements, which keeps you from doubling up on similar tests!
Removal of 2023 Training
To prepare for the launch of the 2024 AHIP Medicare and FWA training, the organization will close their 2023 Medicare and FWA training on June 16, 2023, at 11:59 pm ET. Agents wishing to certify to sell 2023 plans throughout the remainder of this year should complete the 2023 certification before that date.
Cost and Discounts: The standard cost is $175. Aetna/Coventry, Allwell, Anthem, Humana, Lasso Healthcare (acquired by ZingHealth), Medical Mutual, Molina, Mutual of Omaha, UnitedHealthcare, and Wellcare may provide an AHIP discount if you certify through their portals. We will update this page as discounts for 2024 certification are confirmed by each carrier.

- Reminder: You can take the mastery exam as many times as you would like. However, there is a 24-hour lockout between attempts to allow you time to study and revisit any of the training material.
- IMPORTANT: Don’t take a short-cut. The system allows you to download your certificate without completing the Contract Recertification. This does not mean you are RTS. You must complete the Contract Recertification to be Ready to Sell.
